THIS IS AN ONLINE ART EVENT!
In an effort to raise awareness for a united front behind universal mental health care, we are hosting this art contest based on the concept of the Rorschach Test (a projective psychological test in which subjects' perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using psychological interpretation).
Contestants are to illustrate their own inkblot pieces for submission. You can express your creative vision without restriction, so long as you work in ink from some initial inkblot. Submissions will be accepted until midnight on July 25th, MT.
The winner will be announced on our website, socials, and at a live online streaming event on our YouTube channel on July 27th, 2023.
One winner will be chosen to be featured in a 10-minute biographic documentary-style video showcasing their talents and their media. In this video we would love to hear about why mental health is important to you and what inspired your inkblot piece.
We will also highlight this artist in a post across our socials featuring clips from the video. Two other submissions will also be selected for honorable mentions. Winners will be notified via email.
